Current World Archaeology Photo of the Year ends 29 January 2024

Deadline: 29 January 2024. Send us your best archaeological photos from any location around the world for your chance to win first prize in Current World Archaeology magazine’s annual photo competition.

The winning image and three runners-up will be featured in CWA and at the CA Live! conference in London in 2024. The overall winner will get two free tickets to the conference, and will also receive a Current World Archaeology trophy.

Entrants can submit up to high-resolution 5 images with an archaeological theme – please include details of the site or artefact photographed, when each image was taken, and your contact information, including a postal address.

The judge’s decision is final. Prize-winners (only) will be notified of results by 12 February 2024.
