CUPOTY CHALLENGE: One Colour Frame until 30 November 2020
Deadline: 30 November 2020. The CUPOTY CHALLENGE is a special project that runs alongside the annual competition of Close-up Photographer of the Year. It runs throughout November and closes on November 30th, 2020. The theme is One Colour Frame – in praise of the power of colour. Pictures can be of any subject but they must be a close-up, macro or micro photograph where a single colour or tone fills most of the frame.
The contest is open to anyone, of any age, from any country, using any type of camera, phone or microscope.
The winner receives £300, a feature in Amateur Photographer magazine (UK) and a place in our online exhibition. All the finalist pictures will be exhibited in the online gallery too and the best ones will be featured in Amateur Photographer magazine.
The expert judging panel includes AP editor Nigel Atherton, top photographers David Maitland, Matt Doogue, Sue Bishop and Robert Thompson; and CUPOTY co-founder Tracy Calder.

Prizes:

Shortlisted entrants get featured in the shortlist online gallery and receive a digital badge.
