Movement; International Photography Exhibition ends 26 April 2023

Deadline: 26 April 2023. The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is running a month long exhibition in July called Movement. Photography is great at capturing movement. Whether it’s slow shutter speed that’s used to capture light trails, or a fast shutter speed to freeze someone mid jump, capturing movement in photography can create some interesting and memorable images. So whether its an athlete or bird of prey, fast cars or the movement of the stars, we want to see your images that capture movement in the world around us.

Movement is an open call for photographers to submit up to 8 images that meet the theme Movement.

Photographers who are selected will have their work displayed for a month long exhibition.
Work will appear online in our online gallery on our website.

Prizes:

Those selected will have their work exhibited at The Glasgow Gallery of Photography for one month. They will also have their work displayed in an online gallery on The Glasgow Gallery of Photography’s website. All those selected for the exhibition will also be in with a chance of being named Photographer of the month.
