Spotlight Awards ends 31 July 2024

Deadline: 31 July 2024. The Spotlight Awards is a competition with a unique focus on advertising talent. This is the 7th edition of the awards, the only photo competition that has created a judge’s panel filled with potential clients for commercial photographers. Judges like Rodrigo Mitma, Creative Director at DDB Asia, Singapore; Abe Chuang, Creative Director at Mother, China; Echo Mah, VP, Global Brand Creative at Four Seasons, USA; James Millar, Film & Photo Manager at Jaguar, UK; Rita Braz, Art Director at Tommy Hilfiger, Netherlands and Kaitlin Kocsis, Marketing Director at Kraft Heinz, Canada, among many others, will be choosing the winners who will be announced in September 2024. This competition might just be the most global online portfolio review a photographer could ever have.

“Our Spotlight Awards give the opportunity to talented photographers to be directly visible to more than 60 of some of the most influential creative decision-makers around the globe. That is exactly what Production Paradise is all about – great imagery in front of great creatives,” says Mariela von Estorff, CEO of Production Paradise.

The awards will have a submission period from April 10th to July 31st, 2024.
Photographers may submit imagery in 13 photography categories: Advertising, Architecture & Interiors, Beauty, Cars, Corporate & Industrial, Fashion, Food & Drink, Kids, People & Lifestyle, Portrait & Celebrity, Sport, Still Life and Travel & Documentary; as well as in AI Image Developing & Creating category.
Each category will have a single winner and all 50+ judges will choose a Grand Prize winner from the professional category winners. There are over $40,000 worth of prizes, throughout 14 categories.

2023 winners included Samuel Hicks, Grand Prize and People & Lifestyle Winner; Mark Scott, Architecture & Interiors Winner; Mirjam Kluka, Fashion Winner; Andy Grimshaw, Food & Drink Winner; and Anatol Gottfried, Advertising Winner, among other prestigious photographers.
