IGPOTY 13 – International Garden Photographer of the Year – until 31 October 2019

Deadline: 31 October 2019. International Garden Photographer of the Year known as (IGPOTY) is the world’s most prestigious photography competition dedicated to plant life and gardens.

The word ‘Garden’ in the title is used liberally as a garden may be traditional or small, private and green. However depending on where you live your garden very well may be the tundra or the outback.

Either way with the competition now its 13th year and having been associated with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew since its launch is proof of its importance.

There are 9 main categories to choose from, each gives winning entrants the chance to be awarded the overall winning prize of £7,500 and the title ‘International Garden Photographer of the Year’.

There is also a top portfolio prize of £2,000 and Gold, Silver and Bronze medals to be awarded by The Royal Photographic Society.
