see-zeen’s first Portrait Photography Award ends 23 April 2024

We are open to traditional approaches to photography as well as to images that push boundaries including self portraits, single and group portraits, collage, photo based mixed media, B&W and color, digital and analog…
In whatever way you choose to create a portrait we want to see it!

Your photographs will all be viewed by see-zeen’s editorial team.
Our special guest judge is acclaimed photographer Frank W. Ockenfels 3, an American photographer, artist, and director celebrated for his portraits of famous celebrities like David Bowie, Jared Leto and Lady Gaga. He is also known for his promotional photography for films and tv such as Breaking Bad, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean as well as his music videos, and campaigns for brands like Nike and Converse. In 2024, his solo exhibition Introspection at Fotografiska New York showcased his creatively experimental journey that spans decades and that continues to inspire today.

Prizes:

First place winner receives a US $500 cash prize and will be featured in see-zeen.com and on see-zeen Instagram.
Second and third place winners will be highlighted in our online magazine and will be featured on our Instagram account. Plus they will each be offered a written review of their selected image.
Top ten entries will be shown in our online magazine and on our Instagram account @seezeenphoto.
