The Art of Building ends 17 October 2022

Deadline: 17 October 2022. The Art of Building photography competition is an international showcase for the very best digital photography of the built environment. It is open to both professional and amateur photographers. There are two awards to be won: the Judges’ Choice and the Public’s Choice. Both winners will receive a £1500 prize.

Our expert judges will select the shortlisted photos to be put through to the public vote. Usually around twelve photos are selected. The public will then vote for their favourite and the Public’s Choice winner will be determined. The judges will also decide which from the shortlisted photos will be the winner of the Judges’ Choice prize.

The competition is run by the Chartered Institute of Building. We stand for the science, ethics and practice of the built environment across the world. Everything we do is to improve the quality of life for those using and creating the built environment.

It is the Art of Building competition that celebrates the creativity of the industry, the passion of the people who work within it, and the impact their work has on those who make use of the final construction.

Prizes:
