TransNatura Nature Photography Contest ends 31 October 2024

Deadline: 31 October 2024. The VADON Association announces the XI. TransNatura International Nature Photo Contest. The goal of the TransNatura photography competition is to promote and support the importance of nature conservation and the protection of natural values through nature photography.

CATEGORIES:

Category A: Wildlife
This category invites photographs that capture wild animals in their natural habitats. The images can be portraits, action shots, or everyday scenes showcasing animal behavior, beauty, and their role in nature. It is important that the photographs are taken without disturbing the animals or their natural environment.

Category B: Nature and Landscapes
This category includes all images showcasing the beauty and diversity of nature, excluding animals. It covers impressive landscapes, forests, waters, plants, and natural phenomena. The aim is to show the wonders of nature and the harmony of an untouched world through photography.

Prizes:

A total of 8 prizes will be awarded during the competition:
• TransNatura Grand Prize: €1,500
• Category A (Wildlife):
o 1st prize: €1,000
o 2nd prize: €600
o 3rd prize: €400
• Category B (Nature and Landscapes):
o 1st prize: €1,000
o 2nd prize: €600
o 3rd prize: €400
• Audience Award:
o The winner of the audience vote on the official TransNatura Facebook page will receive a gift package.
