Women in Photography ends 1 November 2024

Deadline: 1 November 2024. The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is running an exhibition in March called Women in Photography.

For the last couple of years we have celebrated International Women’s Day by having an exhibition that showcases the work of women photographers from across the globe and this year is no different. Women in Photography is an open themed exhibition that is open to women only, but if you need some inspiration for your photography the theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is ‘Accelerate Action’.

Women in Photography is an open call for photographers to submit up to 8 images. This exhibition is open themed and is open to women only.

We want to see work from both emerging and established photographers. You do not need to be a professional photographer to participate as we believe that photography is for everyone.

Prizes:

Photographers who are selected will have their work displayed in a month long exhibition in our gallery, with their work also appearing online in an online gallery on our website.

All participants that are selected to take part in the exhibition will receive a digital certificate of participation and will also be put forward for a chance to be named Photographer of the Month
